Aleta Teresa O'Shea

Aleta O’Shea (nee Veach), age 58 of Hammonton, passed away on June 21, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Waukegan, Illinois to the late Edward Veach and Alice Paris (nee Monaghan). Aleta grew up in Egg Harbor City and attended Oakcrest High School. Throughout her life she worked for Spencer Gifts, Atlantic County Women’s’ Center, Bishop McCarthy Residence, and Hammonton Public Schools. In her adult life, she became heavily involved with Girl Scouts.

Aleta is survived by her husband, Tedo Lopez and her three children, Maureen O’Shea, Antonio Lopez, and Stephanie O’Shea.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory and will be held privately at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to the American Cancer Society by clicking this link .
