Albert A. Bove

Albert A. Bove, age 95, of Mt. Laurel, NJ, passed away on Sunday January 30, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Mary A. “Mickey” Bove. Loving father of Robert (Mary Sue) Bove, Thomas Bove, John (Linda) Bove, James Bove, and Albert (Michelle) Bove. Proud grandfather of Robert Jr. (Jodi), A. Daniel (Melissa), Melissa, Kyle, Kathryn, and Sean; great-grandfather of Colin, Logan, Lily, and Abigail. Cherished brother of June (Charles) Nelson, the late Rosemarie (Valentine) Raubertas, and the late Doris (Jerry) Read. He is also survived and will be sadly missed by his “6th son” Todd Heimgartner, as well as many nieces and nephews. Albert was born in Brooklyn, NY, raised in Tansboro, NJ, and was a longtime resident of Moorestown, NJ before moving to Mt. Laurel in 1991. He proudly served in the United States Army during World War II. He went on to work as a Quality Control Technician for RCA in Camden and then as Plant Manager for Aladdin Color in Florence, NJ. While working for RCA, Albert worked on a camera for the space module that was taken to the moon. Albert was the past president and served in every position on the Board of Directors for the Holiday Village CSA, Mt. Laurel. He was a life member of the Moorestown Fire Department. Albert was an avid private pilot and loved playing pool and cutting grass. He was also very handy and could fix anything. A viewing will be held on Thursday February 3, 2022 from 10:00 to 10:45 am at Most Precious Blood Parish, 445 White Horse Pike, West Collingswood, NJ 08107. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am. Interment with military honors will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Moorestown, NJ.
