Joseph VanDyke age 90 of Berlin, NJ passed away on Sunday. March 29, 2020. Joseph is predeceased by his devoted wife, Ann Marie VanDyke, a son, Frank VanDyke and his granddaughter, Karen VanDyke. He is survived by his children, Joseph VanDyke of Berlin, NJ, Joanne Killen (Dennis) of Clearwater, FL, John VanDyke (Janet) of Atco, NJ, Thomas VanDyke (Sharon) of Dunedin, FL and Kathleen VanDyke-Wells of Berlin, NJ. Joseph is also survived by his grandchildren, Walter Wells, Sarah Wells, Dennis Killen, Maureen Killen, Katie Pointkowski, Lisa VanDyke, John VanDyke and Meredith Carmen and his great granddaughter, Gianna Lynn, Charlie VanDyke, Cameron Munson, Sioraise Killen, Seamus Killen and Montgomery Carmen. Born in the Harlem Section of New York City, raised in Elmer and after his service in the US Army, he moved to Berlin, NJ where he resided the rest of his life. Joseph proudly served in the US Army, Airborne Division during. One of his proud moments is when he was assigned to the Honor Guard Team for General Douglas MacArthur in occupied Japan. After his service with the US Army, he worked at various car dealerships. His last occupation was with Berlin Twp.
