John Taylor

John M. Taylor, age 92, of Moorestown, NJ, passed away on Friday January 15, 2021. Beloved husband of Margaret Taylor (nee Bauer). Loving father of Debbie Lawler, Barbara Taylor (Frank DeMartino), and Jimmy Taylor (Laurie). Proud grandfather of 4. Dear brother of Mary Jane Greiner (Robert). He is also survived and will be sadly missed by his nephews Robert and Richard Greiner, as well as many great nieces and nephews. John was born in Indianapolis, IN, and had resided in Moorestown, NJ for the past 40 years. He served in the United States Marine Corps, playing in the Marine Corps Band. John worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad as a locomotive engineer. He was also an entrepreneur and owned a few businesses throughout his life. The most recent was JMT Lawn Equipment, Delran/Moorestown, NJ. John served with the Moorestown Fire Dept. for 16 years, achieving the rank of Fire Police Captain. He was a 57-year Master Mason with the Beverly Riverside Masonic Lodge #107 and a past member of the Wading River Rod and Gun Club, Tabernacle, NJ. John truly lived a full life and had many hobbies along the way. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, canning, tending to his beehives, and antique cars. He also enjoyed taking his Airstream to Jersey Shore Haven Campground with his wife. Cremation will be held privately. Condolences may be shared at www.lpwoosterfuneralhome.com.
