Brianne Elizabeth Morrow left this world far too soon, but none can deny that she left it a better place; better for the 27 years of joy she brought to all who loved her, and better for the legacy of kindness she left with all those whom she helped and guided. Rarely has the world been graced with such warmth and exuberance as that which Brianne possessed, and her selfless nature afforded everyone who met her the opportunity to share in that same enthusiasm for life. The warmth of her smile was such that none she offered it to could resist being uplifted by it, and her generosity of spirit knew no bounds as she endeavored to help everyone she was able to. To quote her favorite musician, Tom Petty, “She had a heart SO BIG...it could crush this town.” Brianne was an avid hiker and lover of the outdoors, as well as a horseback rider and trainer for many years. As an adult, she followed her passion and became a teacher, relishing the opportunity to help guide young people, as her way of paying forward the compassion and encouragement she received from the educators who had gone the extra mile for her. More than anything else in her life, she loved her family, whose unwavering love and support was as important to her as her vitality and joyfulness was to them. Brianne will be missed by everyone who knew her, of that there can be no doubt. But she will be missed, and celebrated, by none more than by the immediate family who survive her: her eternally loving husband, Grant Berkland, her mother and best friend, Barb Morrow, her beloved big brother, Jacob Golladay, the nephew of which she was so proud, Elias Golladay, her surrogate sister, Colleen Abate. She will be equally missed by her in-laws, the Berklands, who so loved that she became part of the family, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, and friends, by all of whom she was loved. She has been preceded in death by her father, Brian Morrow. Brianne was taken from us much, much too soon, but we are all blessed to have had the chance to share our lives with someone so very special for the time that we had her. She is loved so much, by so many, and always will be. Donations can be made in her name to the Gift Of Life organ donation program @ donors1.org or to TheTreesRemember.com, an organization which plants trees in honor of a loved one's memory.
