BiographySteven C. Schmits, age 49 of Philadelphia, passed away suddenly on Wednesday July 28, 2010 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Steven was born as a military baby at Fort Bragg, NC. He fluently spoke English and German and is a 1997 graduate of Rutgers Law School. Steve has been a resident of Philadelphia, a founding partner in the Scardino & Schmits Law Firm in Philadelphia, focusing his practice on litigation, business contracts and personal injury, and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar.Steven is the son of the late Louis & Elise Schmits (nee Roth) and will be sadly missed by his friend and business partner Joseph Scardino, Esq., his cousins; Donna Bacon, Larry Schmits, Jane Smith, Linda Stewart, Carol Baker, Gene Schmits, Marilyn Haskins, Marie Nesheim, his aunt Armella Schmits and his uncle Wilbert Schmits. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in Seneca, KS. A local memorial service will be announced at a later date. |
