The LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home was established in 1952 by LeRoy Purley Wooster. The funeral home, located on the corner of the White Horse Pike and Coopers Folly Road, was originally a large home that was converted into a funeral home. To meet the needs of the community, an extensive addition was added in 1961 which gave the funeral home one of the largest viewing rooms in the area. Then in 1972, a crematory was placed inside the building. The LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory is the only funeral home in the state of New Jersey that has this advantage.

In 1976, owner and founder LeRoy P. Wooster died suddenly. With the help of licensed managers, the operation of the funeral home was continued by his wife, Alice Wooster. In 1986, the son of the founder, also LeRoy P. Wooster, received his funeral directors license and began the second generation of the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory.

The LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory is dedicated to serving others. In a constant effort to provide families with the comfort and support that they require in their time of need, the funeral home has adopted the logo of a swan as a reminder of the importance of family. Graceful yet strong, the swan is loyal to their family. When swans mate they stay together for life, caring for their family. Like the swan, the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory is here to care for your family.

Today, more than 50 years later, the funeral home continues to be family owned and operated by LeRoy P. Wooster and his wife Ginny Wooster. Also working with them is their daughter, Candyce L. Wooster, who is a registered intern under the direction of her father.
